Since 1887, John Boos and Company has manufactured high quality cutting boards, butcher's blocks and countertops in South Central Illinois. Boos Walnut Professional Butcher's Blocks are built in Effingham, Illinois. The PCA2 block features a 10-inch thick, end grain construction top made of American walnut. The surface length and width measurements are 18 by 24-inch and the cutting surface features a Boos block cream finish with beeswax. Four matching black pencil legs are included. After simple assembly, the PCA2 block stands 34-inch tall. John Boos recommends oiling butcher's block tops every three to four weeks to maintain and protect the wood from drying or cracking.
